PAP Clinic

Please note, our PAP clinic is for Grandview patients only. The Doctors here at Grandview would like to remind you that if you are a female patient, you should have a pap smear done every three years. You should have it done sooner if you have a history of an abnormal pap smear, are HPV (human papillomavirus) positive, or have symptoms such as bleeding, pelvic pain, or discharge.

A PAP smear (also referred to as a “PAP Test”) can save your life. It can find the earliest signs of cervical cancer – a common cancer in women. If caught early, the chance of curing cervical cancer is very high. PAP tests also can find infections and abnormal cervical cells that can turn into cancer cells. Treatment can prevent most cases of cervical cancer from developing. If women had regular pap tests, 90% of cancer of the cervix would be prevented.

We encourage you to book an appointment with your family doctor or alternatively with our nurse at our PAP only clinic where weekday, evening and Saturday appointments are now available.

Please contact the appointment desk during any afternoon at 623-4200 to set up an appointment.
